About Me
I am Jacqui Smith. I am in my 40′s and have been interested in exercise since my early teens where I was competing for Middlesex in Gymnastics.
In my early 20′s I enjoyed exercise within the Territorial Army, where I met my now husband, after having my 2 children, I decided I wanted to work in the fitness industry so took myself back to school.
I am YMCA Qualified in Cardio Vascular, Resistance Machines & Free Weights and hold a NVQ Level 3 Personal Trainer Award. I also hold a first aid certificate and have a City & Guilds 7203 Teaching Certificate.
I have been teaching for over eleven years and Personal Training for over nine years.
Within the last six years I have also been teaching at Adult Education Centres teaching mobility classes to the older generations, Special Needs exercise classes and general Fitness Classes. Hooping Fitness workshops to parents and children through Family Learning in Hertfordshire & Essex. I also now teach IT @work diploma and Computer for Beginners, Next Step to Work classes.
I became interested in Hooping in 2006 and became one of the first UK qualified Bodyhoops Certified Trainers in March 2007 and progressed to a Master Trainer in 2008, now running UK REPS approved training courses throughout the UK.
